Chain Letters For Democracy
Good afternoon!
I received this from my dad today, and decided to spend my lunch break reading it. My primary impulse when I receive one of these forwarded email chain-letters is to begin identifying sources and tracking down the authenticity of claims. After all, what is social awareness and commentary without critical thought?

Glaring Oversight
Google Maps did an update, and extended their Street View service to cover Phoenix and some of the outlying areas. That’s the upside. The other half of it is that they apparently did their sweeps in the middle of last summer, as shown by construction work and the blinding glare that obscures most of the images, and they are not nearly as high-res as the Bay Area shots. Like a lot of programmers, I have preferred tools and development platforms.
