Old is New Again
One of my previous obsessions was over this game called “Magi Nation: Duel”. The rules were great, the gameplay fierce and the best part was the artwork, mostly attributable to a guy named Matt Holmberg. The game has been dead for a couple of years now, but the buzz is that a cartoon based on it is going to be distributed by WBKids this fall. Unfortunately, the artwork sucks. I don’t have much hope left.
Maybe in 20 years they will make a live-action movie of it, and it will be awesome.
